There are a number of sources of documentation for FreeEOS. The README file contains general documentation of FreeEOS including how to build and test it on various platforms as well as explanation of the principal flag combinations that control the various option suites. The README.developers file contains brief documentation suitable for FreeEOS developers of the relationships between the various fortran routines. The README.free_eos_test file documents the free_eos_test code for testing the analytical partial derivatives calculated by the FreeEOS implementation. Finally, the following research notes are now available for download:

Watch this space for further documentation results. For example, further papers describing the FreeEOS implementation of the component of the free energy due to ideal partition functions and the component of the free energy due to pressure ionization are planned.
